Season's
greetings, RPDD'ers! I hope you had a terrific last
couple weeks.
Our house was
full of C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S:
C: cheer, cozy,
crazy, chaos, cookies, candles and Christmas (lights, trees,
decorations and gift)
H: hope,
happiness, health, Hershey's Kisses and miniatures
R: rapture (when
the Wii was opened)
I: ice storm,
internet tracking of Santa's route
S: smiles, sips,
snacks, sighs, sniffles , stockings, SNOW!!!!!
T: toys (what
else?)
M:
merry, madness, movies, mashed potatoes
A: aunts, apple
pie, all-weather tires
S: simple focus
on what the season is all about
Tonight we're
looking forward to spending New Year's with close friends
and their
kids. It's going to be frigid here in the Northeast, so the
plan
is to spend the
night indoors with finger foods, a few adult beverages,
Dick Clark and
lots of kids in a soundproof basement.
I hope the last
couple weeks also brought lots of love and laughter to
your life.
My main goal for
2009 is to continue simplifying and focusing, living in the
moment, enjoying
what I DO have and not dwelling on the stuff I don't have
(or somebody else
has).
I wish you
unending peace, love, joy, happiness and health in the coming
year.
So--I have to say
it--"see you next year"!
