New Study Proves Dieting Doesn't Work!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi there,
Yes, I am going to continue to whine about
the weather here in the Northeast. Just in case
you thought you were having a bad day, imagine
waking up on April 12 to 2.5 inches of white stuff.
It was our THIRD snowfall in April. This year.
Here's the view from my front door:

But that's ok. Soon I will be flip-flop heaven, bugging
my husband to install the air conditioners.
~~~
I was interested--but not surprised--to see an
article hit the internet yesterday.
The headline read: "Diets damage health, shows
biggest-ever study".
Wow. Shocking.
Dieting isn't good for you? Dieting doesn't work?
That's why REAL PEOPLE DON'T DIET!
You can read the full article here:
Don't
Diet Study
Basically, the study reached the following conclusions:
*Two-thirds of dieters put the weight back on
*Most dieters end up heavier than when they started
*Most dieters end up more at risk for heart disease,
stroke and diabetes
*Repeated weight loss and weight gain is more detrimental
to health than being overweight consistently
*Yo-yo dieting suppresses the immune system, leaving
dieters prone to all types of illnesses
The scientists recommend a BALANCED diet. They also
found that study participants who exercised lost the most
weight and kept it off.
~~~
Now, I want to make a couple points here.
First off, while
"Real
People Don't Diet" DOES involve a
strategy regarding carbohydrates, it is NOT a diet, nor is it
a "low-carb diet".
So what is it?
It's a BALANCED eating plan. I guess you could say it follows
the adage "all things in moderation....".
How do you attain balance? By eating less of the foods
that are bad for you and help you to gain weight, and eating
more of the foods are good for you and help you lose
weight.
Sound like a diet? It's not. Notice I said "less"
of the foods
that are bad for you. Not "cut out" all the foods that are bad
for you.
Why? Because it's easy to do, quickly becomes a habit, can
be done anywhere at any time, and allows you to eat foods you
enjoy while still losing weight.
Dieters yo-yo because of lack of willpower. Dieting is all
about
denial.
Avoid the denial and you don't need all that willpower.
It's that simple.
People make it harder than it has to be. Experts don't help
with all their preaching and dire warnings. Yes, yes, we
know...
but "real life" gets in the way and gosh, we are just SO
stressed and hungry.
So stop dieting and ruining your health!
Instead, take control and turn your assumptions about weight loss
INSIDE-OUT.
If you've already read
"Real
People Don't Diet" then you know
exactly what I'm talking about.
If you haven't, then PLEASE consider buying and implementing it
in your own life. It comes with a refund policy--you have
nothing
to lose.
Every day I hear from readers--and family, friends and acquaintances--
who are struggling with their weight. The majority of them
are just
like the people in this study. They lost weight and put it
back on. Their health isn't all that great.
I really want to help them, and I really want to help you.

Until next time, thanks so much for reading. Have a great
weekend!

I haven't filed my tax returns yet but they're pretty much done.
If you're thinking about your finances and realizing you've
got
some adjustments to make, give my friend Leo's program "How To Own Your
Paycheck Again" a try. When we ran our numbers we found out
we
could have everything paid off in 15 years. That includes our
mortgage--and credit card debt we incurred when my husband lost his job
for several months. Don't despair. Do something about it.
