Some Great New Foods To Try
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi again!
How is your summer going so far? The
back-to-school flyers came out this
Sunday so I guess it's now officially
mid-summer. I figure in a couple weeks
I'll be able to buy new Christmas ornaments. ;-)
We had a great time in Lowell, MA. The girls
far exceeded our expectations at the national
dance competition. We were very proud.
The only bummer was the fact my less-than-
one-year-old iPod fell into the hotel toilet.
It's a long story, and yes, it was clean
water. ;-) No "iPoop" for me.

One reader wrote me after my last newsletter to
complain that I didn't give specific amounts for the
veggies in the "Cate's Pasta Chicken" recipe.
Sorry about that. It was:
one red pepper
one yellow pepper
one medium red onion
I made the recipe up and just used what I had on
hand, so feel free to do the same. As a recovering
perfectionist let me offer this advice--just wing it
once in a while!

A l reminder for those of you who've read "Real People Don't
Diet"...
Those who have the most success are the ones who
really understand my point about NOT dieting. They
don't count anything, they don't watch the scale and
they don't buy special diet foods. They simply eat
the way we do.
In my opinion and experience, NOT dieting is the only
way to lose weight permanently.

I've found a couple new food items I'd like to share with you
that have really helped us eat great, be healthier
and still enjoy great taste. I hope they're available in
your part of the world--if not, so sorry, and hopefully
they will be soon.
Pepperidge
Farm Whole Grain White bread items. We use the
hot dog rolls, hamburger rolls and mini-bagels. Delish and
better for you.
Barilla
Whole-Grain pasta. It tastes about 95% like
regular
white pasta. The kids didn't even notice when I made it
recently. THAT's saying a lot!
Tastefully
Simple So-So Salsa mix. Just add a can of diced
tomatoes plus 1/4 cup of the dried mix. Leave in the fridge
at least two hours. Tasty, zingy and very good for
you! I
used diced tomatoes with green chilis for a regular salsa
dip. I also tried it as a bruschetta dip by using regular
diced tomatoes and easing up a bit on the mix. Spread it over
dried bread or bagel chips.
Hormel
Natural deli meats. We like the smoked turkey
and boiled
ham. No nitrites!
Oscar
Meyer's Natural hot dogs. All-beef and no
nitrites. We
also used to eat Applegate Farms organic all-beef dogs. I get
mine at Super Wal-Mart.

Lose
weight, and while you're at it, lose your debt! Leo
Quinn has been
my friend for over 30 years and I can personally vouch for his debt
payoff
system because I've used it myself:

Want to make
money online and work from home?
I've been doing it for over five years, and nothing beats the
training and advice I received from Sitesell.com.
Read about others who are doing it successfully using SBI!, the
all-in-one web business package I personally use every day:

Download a f*r-ee course that will give you the basics:

If you're a mom, then download the f*r-ee book that I helped co-author:

At Home Masters Course (WAHM It!)
Sitesell's materials are very thorough and reading-intensive.
I prefer that...but if you don't, you can consider another
great web-business building product that uses CD's and hands-on
training to get your business up and running. It's by Jim
Daniels, one of the pioneers of internet marketing.
The course is called "EZ Web Business Builder" and you can check it out
here:
